Trabocca’s work in Kenya focuses on giving power to farmers, paying them much higher per kilo and ensuring that the money goes directly to them as oppose to a middleman or corrupt agent. Trabocca started their "Kenyan Coffee Revolution" with the Ndaironi cooperative, but was ended after board members devolved into old ways, something that Trabocca had a no-policy for. 

With Thiriku, Trabocca are re-introducing the ethos of the Kenyan Coffee Revolution, bringing agronomists to assist and educate farmers, as well as providing the resources necessary to scale up the production of bushes. 

The Thiriku Cooperative is based in Nyeri where the farms sit at around 1880 - 1970 masl. This coffee is a washed SL28 varietal, a fruity cup with lots of sweetness. 


Shipping & Returns


We use Evri for all our deliveries in the UK and also internationally.

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our cafe in Leicester. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 9:00 - 16:00 every day. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
